With the Fourth of July holiday coming up in a few days, we decided to feature red, white and blue for our Fabulous Friday projects on the Sisters in Stamping blog this week. I have a downline whose birthday is actually July 4th so I created her birthday card for my project this week - why not take care of two to-do items at the same time, right?!
This card features the stamp set July Fourth from the Summer mini catalog along with real red, night of navy and whisper white for the color scheme and I used platinum shimmer paint for the fireworks images on the background. The sentiment was colored using stampin' write markers and I added dazzling diamonds to the image with a 2-way glue pen. The large scallop circle is a new punch - it is 2-3/8" big, how cool is that?! It works perfectly with the 1-3/4" circle punch. I finished off the card with whisper white grosgrain ribbon and silver brads.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a safe and fun-filled 4th of July! Please be sure and check out the Sisters in Stamping blog today to see the other projects posted!!
