It's Friday and you know what that means - it's time for another Fabulous Friday project for the Sisters in Stamping blog. This week we got to choose our favorite new product from the Idea Book & Catalog and I decided to create a summer scrapbook page featuring the Sunny Garden DSP and matching Cottage Garden stamp set. I love the colors in this pack of DSP - poppy parade, peach parfait, pear pizzazz and daffodil delight.
Here is a close-up of the stamped panel - don't you just love that the Cottage Garden stamp set matches the Sunny Garden DSP? I used several of the stamps to create this faux designer paper on whisper white and then stamped and cut out (yes, I cut!) two of the solid flowers in peach parfait and added a little bling to the centers with basic rhinestones. I LOVE these new accessories!!! The sentiment was stamped with poppy parade ink and punched out with the wide oval punch - I matted it with a piece of poppy parade that was cut out on my Big Shot using the Lots of Tags sizzlit set. The letters for my summer title were also cut out using the Big Shot and the Simple Letters bigz dies with peach parfait card stock.
And I love the basic rhinestone pack - I embellished the butterfly with a strip of these. I just snipped where I wanted and attached them all at the same time... super easy! Do you recognize this butterfly? It is from the Beautiful Wings embosslit and I cut it out using my Big Shot.
I now have to find some photos to put on my page - thanks for looking! Please be sure and visit the Sisters in Stamping blog after Noon today to see what were the favorite new products of my "Sisters."
Products used on today's project include:

I REALLY, REALLY LOVE THE COTTAGE WALL DSP FROM THE LAST CATALOG THAT HAD THIS PATTERN IN DIFFERENT COLORS. I WAS NOT SURE HOW I FELT ABOUT THE NEW COLORS WITH THAT PATTERN, BUT THIS PROJECT IS MAKING WE WANT THIS DSP. THANKS FOR ENABLING!!!!
