This week on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are focusing on new catalog goodies that we were able to preorder this month... one of the BEST perks of being a demonstrator hands down!!! I decided to do a Christmas card featuring the oh-so-cute Snow Much Fun stamp set... isn't this snowman just the cutest?!
I stamped the main image on watercolor paper using jet black StazOn ink and used stampin' write markers and a blender pen to color the image. The blues used are 2 of the new In Colors - Pool Party (lighter blue) and Island Indigo (darker blue) - in addition to the orange Calypso Coral. I had to stick with my tried and true real red for the Christmas red, though! Check out the punch - this is the awesome new Lace Ribbon Border punch. I embellished it with rhinestones... it reminded me of snowflakes.
For the sentiment, I wanted the word "snow" to stand out, so I inked it with my stampin' write markers and then punched it out using the modern label punch... to mat it, I punched another one out of the pool party card stock and then cut it in half and glued it to the back.
