Hi there!! It's been a long and busy summer and I apologize for taking a little hiatus, but I'm back with a fun gift card holder project for Fabulous Friday over on the Sisters in Stamping blog. I chose the theme this week for our projects, showcasing the incredible Big Shot since it is my very favorite tool. My project today features the Flourish and Mini Treat Bag framelits collections along with the Affectionately Yours specialty DSP. I just got the Flourish framelits and love the intricate die cuts that it produces. The fine-tip glue pen works perfectly to adhere these to your paper!
This 5" x 3-1/2" note card fits perfectly in the completed mini treat bag. I kept it simple, with a strip of the Affectionately Yours specialty DSP and a couple of flowers cut using the Big Shot and Flourish framelits. The colors are pulled from the DSP - mint macaron, daffodil delight and watermelon wonder. The birthday sentiment, from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, is stamped with night of navy ink and cut with the new Classic Label punch.
Here's one more view of the card, gift card to my favorite local coffee place, and the mini treat bag to hold it all. For even more ideas and inspiration using the fabulous Big Shot, please be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what the other designers created this week.
