When I attended Leadership in Nashville last January we were challenged to do a +ONE with our teams. I decided to host a Diva Day every quarter for my Top 3 Demonstrators (based on a point system for personal sales, recruiting and personal promotions) and in addition I wanted to start sending cards to the Top 5 demonstrators in my entire team once a month. Ever since we got home from the Stampin' Up! Alaska cruise back in May life went into overdrive and I neglected to send cards for May, June and July. I felt so bad about this and finally was able to get this "to do" item off my list last week. The card above features the new Field Flowers stamp set which I LOVE along with wisteria wonder, concord crush and lucky limeade - all fabulous In Colors. I really love the First Edition DSP and aged it with the Tea Stain from my Distressing Essentials kit. The punches used include the scallop border and modern label punches and I finished the card with the gorgeous 3/8" wisteria wonder ruffled ribbon. I'm not sure you can see it, but I added just a hint of glitter to the center of the flowers with the new Dazzling Details (Iove this stuff!).
Here is another card that I sent and it is a CASE of my stamp-a-stack card from last month, which was a CASE of one that Jen Sannes created. The fun flowers are from the Button Buddies stamp set and the DSP is from the Berry Blossom package. I just love this color combination - it just pops, doesn't it?! It is a combination of poppy parade, calypso coral and lucky limeade - all In Colors. Did you know that the scallop circle punch works perfectly with this flower - saves me from cutting... love that! I finished the card off with some Dazzling Details in the center of the popped up flower and a piece of the beautiful lucky limeade 3/8" ruffled ribbon.
The final card that I made is this one - it is a CASE of a swap that I received from Colleen Magness at the Charlotte Regional last month. I love the Awash with Flowers stamp set and this pretty in pink is so pretty. I embellished with the scallop dots ribbon, which picked up the polka dot texture on the whisper white piece which I added with my Big Shot. I rounded the ends of the stamped panel on one side with the corner rounder punch... it adds a nice touch, don't you think?! I had to add some bling so used dazzling diamonds and a rhinestone jewel for the center of the flower.
I hope my Top Demonstrators in my downline forgive me for my delay in getting these cards out to them and know how proud I am of their accomplishments! I promise to be better going forward!
Enjoy the rest of your Labor Day weekend!!
