I participated in the first ever (and hopefully one of many to come) Lynchburg Women's Show last weekend and wanted to share some pictures. Here is a photograph of our booth, taken before the crowds descended upon us. We were situated on a corner so it was great for setting up a make-n-take table on one side. I was surprised at how many of the attendees had never stamped before - they were pleased at how fun and easy it is and marveled at the variety of stamped projects that we had on display. I met so many new people that day and look forward to getting to know them better as they attend my stamping events!
Here is a close-up of Sherri Gough's baby shower projects on display - she was inspired by the presentation we saw during General Session of Leadership. Aren't these great? Do you see the basket behind it with the "Demonstrator Opportunity" placard? We had filled a basket with all the products that you get in your starter kit and it was a great marketing tool.
I just had to take this photograph of one of my favorite stampers, Carolyn North. I call her my Glitter Queen as she LOVES dazzling diamonds. Whenever she is signed up for a class, I make sure that at least one of the projects includes dazzling diamonds - the more the better! I don't know that my camera was able to pick up all the shimmer and shine on her face painting, but there was some gorgeous glitter on her face! There was a vendor there who was doing free face painting... how fun!
I do look forward to participating in this event again next year... if you missed it, I hope you'll join me next year!
