Today at noon (EST) is the debut of the Fab Friday product feature over on the Sisters In Stamping blog that I created with some demonstrator friends of mine (you can view it here) and I'm excited to be the one hosting it this week. Since we are focusing on the new Holiday Mini catalog during the month of September, I chose to highlight the Build-a-Bear Workshop line that Stampin' Up! is now carrying.
Here is my contribution for Fab Friday. It has been a while since I offered a Mom & Me class and what better stamps to use than these?! My class will include the projects pictured above - a backpack tag, 12" x 12" scrapbook layout and a "bearthday" card. The cost of the class will be $30 and include the Beary Best Friends stamp set and all pre-cut supplies for both Mom and child so each can make the projects. There will also be the $45 class option which will include the Beary Nice Wishes ($16.95) stamp set that we'll be using on the projects.
Here's a close-up of the backpack tag - I stamped the bear and colored him in with my Stampin' Write markers. I added my son Brandon's name with the fun Jumble Alphabet.
This was a fun layout to create - I dressed up my bear, cut out with my Big Shot, with clothes to match the colors of my scrapbook page. Nothing says kids like the Bold Brights color family.
And here is a quick and simple birthday card that you could use again and again - since there is a boy bear and a girl bear in the stamp set, all you would need to do is switch out the colors.
Here are the images in the Beary Best Friends stamp set (to the left), and the Big Shot dies that I used on the scrapbook layout. Please let me know if you'd like to attend this class or place an order to purchase these great products!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you check out the rest of the Fab Friday projects over on the Sisters In Stamping blog!!
