The make-n-take at my downline meeting this month was this fun bookmark created with the Fun Flowers Bigz L die for the Big Shot found in the Occasions Mini catalog. I had received one similar to it as a gift from my SAM (Service Account Manager) at Leadership last month and loved the idea! I had ordered the key trinkets but due to all the adverse weather issues my order was delayed and didn't arrive in time for my meeting.
It only takes half of a sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" card stock to create one of these bookmarks plus a big designer button, linen thread and stampin' dimensionals. If you run your sheet of card stock through the Big Shot with the Fun Flowers die, you'll have enough card stock remaining to punch out two additional circles with your 1-3/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches (see image below).
I took each flower layer and crinkled them to give lots of texture and then really made that texture pop with a stampin' sponge and ink. When assembling, start with the largest circle and attach your 12" piece of wide ribbon with 3 stampin' dimensionals. Build your flower with a circe layer then a flower layer using dimensionals between each, until you get to the top - add a button that you've threaded with linen thread and voila - you're done!
Here are two side views of the flower - does it make sense? These are so easy to make and I think it would make a great gift for someone along with a gift card to their favorite book store.
