Happy Friday and thanks so much for stopping by today! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are featuring projects that are inspired from things we've found on Pinterest (pin-spired). I love beading almost as much as I love paper crafting so of course whenever I can combine the two it makes me happy! Below are two projects I pinned recently and used as inspiration for my necklace above...

Close-up of my creation
I loved the look of the necklace in the second pin photo above and was able to recreate the look of the pendants in the first pin photo by using a few Stampin' Up! products. Can you guess which ones? You'll have to check my list at the end of this post to find out if you got it right!!
To create my pendant, I simply took a chunk of clay and rolled it into a ball which I then flattened. I inked my stamp very well with Jet Black StazOn ink and carefully pressed it down into the center of the disk. Next, I carefully peeled the clay from the stamp. The last thing I did before leaving it to dry overnight was use my stylus to poke a hole in the top. Once dry, I pressed the Silver Metallic Encore ink pad directly onto the clay all over and then sprinkled clear embossing on top. I carefully heat embossed it - get too close and you'll end up with some bubbling. I smoothed it carefully once it had cooled a little but there were still some left... I was okay with that since I felt it gave the piece a more rustic feel. I added a rhinestone which I had colored with the middle Melon Mambo Blendabilities pen to the center of the flower. Then I just assembled my necklace using some beads and leather cord. Easy-peasy!
I have to give a quick shout-out to my friend Mel Simons, a wonderful Canadian demonstrator that I met at Leadership earlier this year. She embellished the papier-mache dress form with DSP - isn't it great?! I was supposed to embellish it further but I rather like it like this!! And it was perfect for photographing my necklace... so thanks, Mel!!
